Johana Viveros
Although we have already seen in my report of the World championships that Johana Viveros won two gold medals and two silver, nevertheless, also about Johanna Viveros little can be found in the media except nice fotos and videos. Fortunately, at least the director of Communications of the Fedepatín, Herich Frasser, took the effort to pay attention to provide some information about this extremely gifted female speed skater. He reports the following.
During her childhood in her native town Cali, the passion of Johana Viveros was dancing. So, when she started with skating, she thought of dancing on her skates.
At the age of ten Johana got connected to speed skating, in the park of the Alfonso Barberena neighborhood. Later she joined what is currently her club, the L.M.T. (Luz Mery Tristán).

When she talked about what skating meant to her she says; “a lot of effort, dedication, perseverance, patience, this sport requires a lot of will, you have to leave many things behind to be able to obtain all these achievements”. These basic ideas determined why Johana Viveros Mondragón reigns supreme in speed skating. world speed.
